The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain

Following a successful two-year PR strategy to generate positive awareness about The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain and tourism in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Fox Communications curated an influencer campaign to generate exposure to an extended audience across various social media channels whilst promoting the hotel, its facilities and experiences on offer as well Bahrain as a destination.

  • Secured and hosted UK celebrity Amanda Holden and her family at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain over Christmas. Through online exposure and social media, exposure generated has reached a total circulation of 652,766,487 with a total AVE of £369,066 and a total PR value of £922,665

Carefully selecting a group of influencers based on the quality of their feed, with each influencer follower numbers and engagement being taken into consideration, Fox Communications hosted an influencer group press trip to The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain in October 2018.

Working with The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, Fox curated an itinerary spanning over four nights in order to create the best possible experience for the group, including activities and excursions that would showcase well on a social media platform, such as a city sightseeing tour, pearl diving experience, Bahraini picnic on a deserted island, a tented Arabian sunset BBQ, yoga and use of the hotel’s facilities including the spa, private island and beach front villas.

Prior to the trip, the following coverage expectations were communicated to the group; at least one Instagram post per day whilst staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain supported with Instagram stories and a blog post including coverage of Gulf Air. The influencer press trip generated a total of 320 Instagram stories and a total of 52 static Instagram posts to the groups combined social media following of 1,244,800. Along with two blog posts, this exposure equated to a total PR value of £172,665.

In addition, we secured and hosted UK celebrity Amanda Holden and her family at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain over Christmas. Through online exposure and social media, exposure generated has reached a total circulation of 652,766,487 with a total AVE of £369,066 and a total PR value of £922,665
