This Valentine’s Day the iconic Galle Face Hotel invites couples to touch down via private jet for an unforgettable experience combining adventure, fine dining, culture, history and romance.

The opportunity to travel to 2019’s top country* this exclusive new experience picks lovebirds up from wherever they may be in the world to the colonial elegance of The Galle Face Hotel. An incredible once in a lifetime experience, the ‘Wild at Heart Sri Lankan Valentine’s Safari’ has been curated by the experts of Quintessentially Sri Lanka.

A three-day romantic adventure between 14th – 17th February, this exceptional experience will leave couples truly in awe and follows in the footsteps of the hotel’s royal guests. For the first evening, couples are hosted within the hotel’s Empress Suite where Prince Edward Earl of Wessex and Sophie Countess of Wessex stayed in February 2018. An intimate evening on the private terrace of the suite overlooking the expanse of the ocean, the lucky couple can dress to impress with a gourmet sunset dinner of fresh oysters and the finest champagne created by the hotel’s Executive Chef.

As morning returns, couples will indulge in a bespoke breakfast and a blissful 90-minute couple’s Wild at Heart Signature Spa treatment before a day of adventure and Sri Lankan discovery. A truly untamed adventure, a private helicopter will soar above the majestic ruins of Polonnaruwa, seat of ancient kings, and the enchanting Angammedilla National Park - home to leopards, elephants, monkeys and more, before arriving at the EKHO Lake House Polonnaruwa for a lake safari.

Following royal’s footsteps, the couple in question will also have the opportunity to stay in The Queen’s Suite, where HM Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh once stayed. Following a colourful Wild at Heart tropical breakfast, couples can say goodbye to the leopards of the jungle and hello to the Jaguar F-PACE - 2017’s Car of the Year before being taken back to their private jet transfer home.

Robert C. Hauck, General Manager and Area Vice President of the Galle Face Hotel, said: “Quintessentially are the ideal partners for us to create this experience.
