Marbella-chic – with a dash of Estepona’s easy going ethos – Kempinski Hotel Bahia opens the doors to its brand new Spiler Beach Club. Expect to find jetsetters, food-enthused travellers and locals alike dining on creative, Andalusian-inspired fare beachside, poolside or inside. Blending into its seafront setting, the Iberian-chic Spiler offers an all-day destination to socialise, dine and relax.

Just steps from Estepona’s esplanade, Spiler Beach Club serves up delicious dishes created with locally sourced, organic ingredients, foraged from local farms, the Mediterranean Sea, and the hotel’s on-site horticultural garden. Although just a short swoop west from the bustling beach clubs of Marbella, at Spiler Beach Club, wholesome food and quality ingredients come first, whether it’s enjoyed alfresco from a day bed, or in Spiler’s stylish lounge for those seeking respite from the sun.

By day, choose a selection of dishes from the all-day menu; fresh-out-of-the-ocean seafood dishes, zesty salads and artisan pizzas, are accompanied by more traditional small plates of scallops and Iberian ham, tuna tartare or punchy seabass and shrimp ceviche. Food-loving families can feast on freshly-prepared dishes from an extensive kid’s menu, perfect to introduce them to Spanish cuisine.

As the sun sets, Spiler Beach Club transforms into a vibrant evening destination, with live music, twinkling lights and a smarter dress code. A more sophisticated menu serves up wild sea bass, oysters or sole, garnished with local vegetables and peppered with herbs sourced from the on-site garden. For meat-lovers, there’s a Spanish entrecote or Iberian pork, perfectly complimented by a chilled glass of local wine from the extensive wine list.

Co-created by the family-run Zsidai Group, Spíler Beach Club completes Kempinski Hotel Bahia’s El Paseo Del Mar creative culinary concept. Designed with foodies in mind, buzzy Baltazár Bar & Grill, a creative Spanish steakhouse, serves-up prime meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes, while Black Rose the bar promises signature cocktails in a newly-refurbished lobby, complete with a sun-drenched outdoor terrace.

Superior Rooms start from £150 per night in low season, including breakfast
