Es Saadi Marrakech Resort is the ultimate glamourous destination for the discerning traveller. Having been the set for the Golden Globe winning The Night Manager, the resort also partners with the annual Moroccan film festival and has welcomed many celebrities and film stars over the years. 2017 brings a host of new offerings, elevating the guest’s experience to a new level. Continuously striving to create a unique and special setting, Es Saadi maintains its world class offerings whilst enhancing them with new initiatives. For 2017 this includes, for the Palace, a brand new stylish bar in the lobby, a new and delicious La Chocolaterie boutique and tea room, a new spa suite and a new wellness menu in the restaurant.

When entering the Palace, guests are immediately struck by the grand lobby with domed ceiling, decorated with hundreds of fresh roses and now the new lobby bar has further improved this first impression. Decorated with hundreds of candles, Sarah Lavoine furnishings, a monumental fireplace, and photos taken by the very talented Leila Aloui, the Lobby Bar creates a beautiful atmosphere for guests to meet or relax. Found in the heart of the Es Saadi Palace, guests can savour one of many signature cocktails and dine on locally sourced small plates prepared by chef Hervé Paulus, whilst listening to soothing jazz music performed by a local pianist.

Not far from the lobby is every chocolate lover’s dream, Es Saadi Marrakech Resort’s Chocolaterie spotlights its savoir-faire. Guests can indulge in house chocolates with sweet citrus notes, ganache filled pralines and orchard orange peels coated in a fine layer of bitter chocolate. Offering more than just chocolate guests can opt for House jams and jellies, candied fruit as well as traditional Moroccan pastries including; Cornes de Gazelle, Ghriba, Fekkas, and Ghriouch with honey and sesame seeds, are also available.  To complement these decedent treats is a variety of Tchaba teas; Flora Moroccan Night, Royal Jasmine, 1001 Nights.

Tea Time takes place every afternoon from 4pm – 6pm in the gallery of the Palace, with artfully presented small pastries and Tchaba tea served on pedestal table.

Bringing healthy living to the guest’s dining options, the Palace’s Lagon & Jardin restaurant offers a deliciously light salad bar each afternoon. Consisting of both raw and cooked full-flavored vegetables, salads, nuts, and freshly gathered herbs from the family’s organic vegetable garden and orchard located in the Ourika Valley, this salad bar offers a truly healthy and energy-boosting gourmet meal. Guests can also enjoy a fresh juice or smoothie to accompany their organic meal. Each glass is rich with antioxidant properties and filled with minerals, trace elements, vitamins and fibres. There is an option for everyone, with over twenty different recipes to choose from.

Not only has the Palace receive a host of new additions but the stunning Palace Spa has also enhanced its wellness offerings with a new capacious Spa Suite, new gut and hydro-therapy treatments, a new slow food philosophy and Yoga Retreats for 2017 in partnerships with Le Tigre Yoga Club.
