Celebrate Global Culture in Paradise

An art exhibition dedicated to the wonders of the ocean, live Latin music salsa dance parties and locally inspired culinary journeys – luxury all-villa resort, The Pavilions Phuket, is launching a true celebration of artistic diversity.

With its luxurious accommodation and a spectacular hilltop setting with incredible views of the Andaman Sea, The Pavilions Phuket is the ultimate tropical sanctuary. Set within its idyllic surroundings, the five-star resort has created a cultural showcase for guests offering engaging, authentic experiences that highlight local talent.

Presenting her acclaimed “Emotion of the Ocean” exhibition at Firefly Restaurant - the resort’s contemporary dining venue -  is Brazilian-born, Phuket-based artist Leticia Vaz Marques. Inspired by the power of the sea and the pure beauty of Mother Nature, Leticia’s eye-catching artworks offer bold-yet-calming colours creating a serene oceanic ambience.  Guests will be able to purchase Leticia’s artworks with a percentage of each sale donated to the Phuket Hotels Association (PHA) and its campaign to keep the island’s beaches in pristine condition.

Adding to the cultural mix, The Pavilions Phuket’s ongoing series of lively Latin-themed evenings will continue with its Havana Salsa Night where guests are encouraged to lose themselves in Latin American vibrant dance culture with genres including salsa, cha-cha-cha and merengue, and guests can continue to get into the Latin groove with traditional Cuban mojitos, created using Phuket’s own Chalong Bay Rum.

Culture also feeds cuisine, and The Pavilions Phuket will be continuing its authentic Thai Culinary Series with a special menu at The Plantation Restaurant inspired by local recipes from the Northern region of Thailand. Food lovers keen to explore the rich culinary traditions of Northern Thailand will discover an array of delectable dishes created by Chef M and his team.

The Phuket Pavilions resort is located just 20 minutes’ drive from Phuket International Airport, which makes it easily accessible for guests arriving from around the globe, whether seeking an extended island vacation or a short break from the city.

Rates at The Pavilions Phuket start from £145 per night on a B&B basis. For more information, visit www.pavilionshotels.com/phuket
